Ceraplex Mix

CeraPlex Mix is a hectorite based emulsifier combined with ceramide and ceramide analogues.

CeraPlex is a multifunctional ingredients which combines the stabilising properties of hectorite with a polygyceryl emulsifier and the moisturising activity of ceramides and ceramide analogues. 

When used in water-in-oil emulsions, CeraPlex structures the oil phase and emulsifies the water phase, stabilising the emulsion. Ceramide NP molecules  and ceramide analogues. are suspended within the house of cards structure formed by the hectorite.

CeraPlex can be used to form quick break, light feeling water-in-oil emulsions or in solid emulsion sticks when combined with other emulsifiers and structuring agents.
