CeraPlex Mix Aqua

A hectorite clay based ceramide delivery system for oil-in-water emulsions.

Ceraplex Mix Aqua is a cold-processable ceramide delivery system, which eliminates the need to heat ceramides to high temperatures in order to incorporate them into formulations. 

When added to an oil-in-water formulation, the ceramide migrates to the edge of the oil droplet and is coated by the hectorire clay which prevents the destabilising lamellar bridge formation.
