Koboguard HRCC is a ternary wax resin composite that acts as an oil soluble film-former. It has a melting point of 85 °C.

Koboguard HRCC is a ternary wax resin composite that contains a patented proprietary ratio of waxes and resin (Hydrogenated Polycyclopentadiene). Koboguard HRCC improves water resistance, rub resistance and transfer resistance; helps to enhance skin adhesion and substantivity; imparts gloss and helps to suspend pigments. Koboguard HRCC has improved solubility in CCT and Castor Oil over conventional resins, making it perfect for lip products. The melting point is 85 °C.
