Hectogel-CCTG (E)

An oil phase thickener, composed of treated hectorite clay dispersed in Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride.

The Hectogel series are formed through the treatment of hectorite clay with Dimethyl Di-hydrogenated alkyl Ammonium Chloride (DDAC) and the chemical activator Propylene Carbonate, dispersed in a range of oils.

They form thixotropic gels by exhibiting a "house of cards" structure. Hectogels increase viscosity, enhance formulation stability, provide suspension and improve spreadability of cosmetic formulations.

Hectogel-CCTG is dispersed in Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride.

Equivalent (E) grade provides the same rheology modification as industry standards, whilst Sunjin grades provide increased viscosity vs industry standards, and therefore requires lower usage levels.
