Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) is a strong antioxidant found in Green Tea which also acts as an antioxidant amplifier through the inhibition of the Aryl-Hydrocarbon-Receptor pathway (activated by pollutants), and the up-regulation of the Nuclear Factor-Erythroid 2-Related Factor-2 (boosts detoxification, antioxidation, and anti-inflammation).
