Munapsys

The first anti-ageing material to act on both the pre- and post-synaptic pathways of muscle contraction, helping to reduce both expression and chronological wrinkles after just 7 days.

Munapsys is a peptide developed through in silico design to obtain maximum efficacy and both pre- and post-synaptic pathways of muscle contraction.

Pre-synaptic action: Munapsys competes with Munc-18 for its position in in binding to  syntaxin, which reduces formation of the SNARE complex. This and lowers release of the neurotransmitter Acetylcholine (ACh) into the synapse. 

Post-synaptic action: Munapsys modulates ACh clustering, as well as Na+ and Ca2+ mobilisation. This modulates the muscular contraction but allows for recovery, unlike Botox, safely reducing expression wrinkles.

In-vivo study results:

• Reduction in wrinkle depth at 7 days
• Reduction in wrinkle volume at 14 days
• Reduction of crow’s feet at 14 days
• Lifting of labial commissures (mouth wrinkles) at 28 days
