Nalidone

Nalidone is the Sodium salt of L-PCA in a 50% aqueous solution. Nalidone is a physiological moisturiser used to ensure or restore an optimal level of moisturisation in the stratum corneum.

L-PCA is part of the skin's Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF) and has moisturising and hydrating properties. L-PCA is obtained by the cyclisation of the L-Glutamic Acid, an amino acid of plant origin. Derivatives of L-PCA also have other benefits.
