ZNO-750-NJE7 is nano Zinc Oxide with a primary particle size of 20 nm that has been surface treated with Kobo's patented NJE (Natural Jojoba Ester) treatment. NJE treatment is a natural treatment that provides a stable hydrophobic coating which does not turn rancid upon heating. It provides a creamy feel and good affinity to the skin. NJE treatment is suitable for powders with very good pressability.

Zinc Oxide is now listed as a UV filter in the European Cosmetic Regulations EC1223/2009.
