Aromtech is located in the north of Finland and manufactures extracts and oils from plants that are traditionally found in the Arctic. Arctic plants have to grow and thrive during long, cold winters and short, intense summers. To help them to survive in the Arctic climate they have developed unique properties and a high concentration of bioactive compounds.

Aromtech's manufacturing plant is located just outside the Arctic Circle in Finland. Here, Aromtech use Supercritical Carbon Dioxide extraction to extract oils and bioactive compounds from plants. Supercritical Carbon Dioxide extraction offers an effective and gentle method of obtaining lipophilic ingredients from plants, while preserving the ingredients in their natural form. The chemical-free CO₂ extraction process also helps to ensure the purity and safety of Aromtech's products.

Aromtech’s products are based around plants that can traditionally be found in the Arctic. Their TruArctic range use plants sourced from within the Arctic Circle. This particular range uses a water and glycerin extraction process to product water-soluble extracts.

Aromtech co-operates closely with leading universities and research institutions to find and implement the most modern product development and manufacturing processes.  Aromtech's product range includes seed oils, berry oils, extracts of peat, natural aromas, grains and birch bark.  Aromtech's products are suitable for use in Skincare, Haircare, Toiletries and Colour Cosmetics.
